The Cyclops was introduced to me by Jim Crawford many years ago now of course trends and fashion in fly fishing move on and this fly rarely sees the light of day. There are however the odd occassions when something a little bit different is needed and this can sometimes do the trick.

A shuttlecock buzzer should be in every fly fishermans box, when the fish are on this the sport can be fantastic. I must confess to prefering the yellow owl for this kind of fishing although this can be a handy change pattern.
