The Jock Sprat is a bug for Grayling but will take Brown Trout as well. You can vary the size of hook and bead to meet your needs. The one shown here is fairly heavy and will get down fast to the deeper pools on the river.

A great little sedge pattern that also doubles as an indicator for fishing the duo.

This is an ideal pattern to be fished for trout with an abundant supply of shrimp, such as those at Grafham Water. I have also considered using this on the river.
