The Diawl Bach is a very popular stillwater fly in Europe and you’d be hard pressed to find a box over there without a bunch of them. This fly uses a dubbed body of Bruiser Blend to give the fly a little bit different color and action profile in the water. I really like fishing these when there are a lot of callibaetis or snails around. Here’s the technique for them. Get em’ low and pull em’ slow!
