DMoose is working to become a one-stop shop for every fitness need – accessories included. One of its more popular products is its lifting straps. These straps are made of 100% cotton and can withstand the rigors of powerlifting accessory work, strongman training and intense bodybuilding workouts.
DMoose Lifting Straps features
These could be among the longest straps available, coming in at 2ft (61cm) long. There are nine color schemes to choose from as well, including prints like the striking stars and stripes version I tested. The straps come with wrist padding so they’ll be comfortable, even when sweating through the hardest sessions in the weight room. The company’s logo is stitched onto the strap, so it shows on the top of the wrist once it’s applied.

The cotton is breathable and will stay wrapped around whatever you’re holding. You can keep them looped or roll them up when you’re not using them. They will need to be hand cleaned to ensure they last for as long as possible – that’s particularly true of the printed versions.
The cross stitching makes them very durable and strong. I used these straps with barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells and speciality equipment in a non-climate-controlled weight room in the middle of summer, and they protected my hands very well. I also had no trouble maintaining control of the object I was lifting.
Check out the pros and cons of weight-lifting shoes vs trainers
I tested these with as much as 495lb / 225kg in weights. If you have small hands, these straps may be too thick for you to work with, but most people will find these to be a great asset for their training needs. At $17, they’re an affordable accessory to improve your weight training and DMoose plans to ship to the UK soon.
