In this fly tying tutorial Cheech ties the Allegedly Ostrich Baetis!
For those of you fly tyers out there you already know that ostrich is one of the most flowy materials on the planet and it’s great to incorporate into all different types of flies.
For those of you Letterkenny fans out there, whenever you hear the word ostrich pronounced a certain way it ought to make you chuckle just a little bit.
Anyway, this is a super cool way to add some movement in the front of an otherwise heavy and motionless Euro nymph. This style of fly can be tied for many other types of nymphs, so make sure to mix and match colors and sizes to match your local waters!
