BABY DUCK Topwater Predator Fly! | Ducky McDuckface | Fly Tying Tutorial

In this fly tying tutorial Cheech ties the Ducky McDuckface!
This is a fly that I have wanted to spend some time designing, and I have gone over it in my head a million times, but I never really had a great reason to put it on paper. I had the opportunity to fish Wollaston Lake in Canada with our buddies from Hareline Dubbin’ so I decided it was time to bring it to life. The Mousey McMouseface is the first in this series, but this style of topwater fly is designed around where the line is tied under the head, and it works great for a unique-moving topwater fly. In it’s testing mission in Canada, it caught a 43" Northern Pike! Feel free to size down to match sizes for bass or trout, but this size is designed for toothy predators.
