TRP Vistar//Powershift Hands-On: What Classified Should Have Been All Along

TRP Vistar//Powershift Hands-On: What Classified Should Have Been All Along

In this video, I take a hands-on look at the TRP VISTAR 1x wireless groupset integrated with the Classified Powershift rear hub – a setup that brings the benefits of a 2x drivetrain without a front derailleur. Unlike using the Powershift system as a standalone system, this integrated system delivers smoother, more intuitive shifting, turning a 12-speed gravel setup into an effective 15-speed by utilizing the Powershift hub’s two gear modes. After several weeks of testing, it’s clear this is the cleanest and most user-friendly application of the Powershift system to date – though it still comes with some trade-offs in cost, complexity, and serviceability.

Price/Costs: Still TBA. They’ve listed "€2800 in Europe and $2900 in North America" but I’m unsure if that includes the Powershift hub (or wheels).
