Brisbane, Australia – home to one of Australia’s deadliest athletes.
Ashleigh Gentle redefined herself after Olympic heartache, moving to middle distance racing and dominating all before her. Across three seasons she won five races at the distance, but at the T100 Triathlon World Tour final in Dubai fell just short of winning that world title.
2025 has been a challenge. The level has risen yet again, and Ashleigh has been forced to settle for top 10s instead of wins. But the best find a way, and at the French Riviera T100 Ashleigh landed another T100 victory, bringing her right back into the title race.
Now she heads into a home race, the first T100 in Australia, at the Wollongong T100 on 18 October, hoping to join Lucy Charles-Barclay as the only woman to have won multiple races this T100 season.
