With the final results now in from the T100 Triathlon World Championship in Qatar, here’s a look at the top earners of the 2025 season. These figures reflect race and series prize money only and do not include sponsorships, appearance fees, or other income related to triathlon performance. Earnings were calculated using publicly available Ironman and T100 race and series prize money, which together represent the most comprehensive payout data currently available.
Within that scope, the following athletes finished the season at the top.
Top Female Earners
1. Kate Waugh – USD $339,000
Waugh topped the women’s earnings list in 2025, combining race winnings from six regular-season T100 podium finishes (gold in Singapore and Wollongong; silver in London, Spain, and Dubai; and bronze in San Francisco) with her victory at the T100 World Championship Final in Qatar.
2. Kat Matthews – USD $325,000
Matthews finished the year as the Ironman Pro Series champion, once again demonstrating the financial rewards of consistent, high-level performance. Her season included victories in Texas, Swansea, and Zell am Sea, alongside runner-up finishes in Hamburg and Kona. Although a calf injury prevented her from finishing the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, her accumulated points were sufficient to secure the overall series win.
3. Lucy Charles-Barclay – USD $318,000
Charles-Barclay split her season between Ironman and T100 racing to finish third among the top female earners. Her highlights included winning the Ironman 70.3 World Championship and claiming T100 victories in London and Spain, contributing to a third-place finish in the T100 series standings.
Ironman World Champion Solveig Lovseth and T100 series runner-up Julie Derron completed the top five earners with USD $307,250 and USD $281,000 respectively.
Top Male Earners
1. Hayden Wilde – USD $355,000
Wilde topped the men’s earnings list in 2025 through a dominant T100 season, finishing with a perfect series score and an unprecedented run of victories. His year included wins in Singapore, London, the French Riviera, Spain, Wollongong, and Qatar. Dubai marked the only interruption to his streak, stemming from a lap-counting error on the bike rather than a performance shortfall.
2. Kristian Blummenfelt – USD $353,500
Blummenfelt committed fully to the Ironman Pro Series and finished the season as its overall winner. His campaign included victories in Texas, Pays d’Aix, and Frankfurt, alongside podium finishes at both world championship events – third at the Ironman World Championship in Nice and second at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, where he narrowly lost in a sprint finish to Jelle Geens.
3. Jelle Geens – USD $328,500
Geens balanced both the Ironman Pro Series and the T100 circuit, highlighted by his victory at the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Marbella. In T100 racing, five podium finishes (gold in Vancouver; silver in San Francisco, the French Riviera, and Spain; and bronze in London) contributed significantly to his overall prize money and secured a third-place finish in the T100 series standings.
Ironman World Champion Casper Stornes and T100 Series runner-up Mika Noodt rounded out the top five earners with USD $307,500 and USD $257,500 respectively.
