The world’s best female professional triathletes are returning to the beautiful city of Vancouver this weekend for the third women’s stop of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour.

Holding the place in the sun, Imogen Simmonds currently sits at the top of the 2026 T100 Triathlon World Tour standings with 42 points, having raced both the Gold Coast and Spain T100s. Behind her, a triathlete with a championship resume, Georgia Taylor-Brown, will be looking to race to her second T100 gold medal after her win at Spain T100. While Simmonds has two scores (third on the Gold Coast and seventh in Spain), Taylor-Brown has one score of 35 from her victory, which has her tied for second in the series standings with Taylor Knibb (who won the Gold Coast event).

Four of the top five in the T100 standings are set to join the start line in Vancouver – the two above, along with Alanis Siffert and Julie Derron, with Knibb not competing in this one. Since Siffert’s fifth-place finish in Spain, she has secured three victories in a row, including at the iconic Challenge Roth. She was recently featured on The Women’s Race podcast, where she spoke to host Jackie Hering about training in China, focusing on her run, and targeting hilly races for good training.

Derron has shown she is well-suited to this course after putting together the fastest split last season on the shores of Locarno Beach, securing a silver medal behind only Knibb.

And joining the competitors above will be reigning 2025 champion Kate Waugh. Waugh is returning after what she shares was the most frustrating injury of her career – a calf tear, along with Achilles and posterior tibial tendinopathy. She last raced in May at WTCS Yokohama, the only event she has raced this year, a striking contrast to the nine events she competed in last year, which included three wins and seven podiums.

For Canadian fans, hometown hero Paula Findlay will be returning to Vancouver following an emotional and inspiring win at her first full-distance Ironman last month in Lake Placid.
