Best Espresso Machine Deals

This is one of the most popular espresso machines of all time—and a long-standing top pick in our guide to the Best Espresso Machines. The pressure is consistent, its steam wand is great, and our reviewers appreciated the built-in grinder. WIRED Gear editor Julian Chokkattu has been using his Barista Express without incident for more than seven years.

Ninja

Luxe Cafe Premier Series Espresso Machine

We gave this semiautomatic staple a 7/10 for its beginner-friendliness and excellent milk frother that can help even newbies make quality cappuccinos and lattes.

Breville

Bambino

This little machine punches above its price class with a thermoblock for immediate heating and a PID (proportional, integral, derivative) temperature controller for consistent brew temperatures.

Keurig

K-Café Smart Single Serve Coffee Maker

Though Keurig’s latest flagship machine ditched the controversial K-Cups, these plastic pods are still a beloved convenience for many, and for them, we recommend the K-Café. It comes with a milk frother for fancier drinks, as well as BrewID, which can identify your pod and suggest custom brew settings. WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe also appreciated that it was easy to clean.

Bruvi

BV-01 Brewer

This is WIRED reviewer Louryn Strampe’s favorite coffee maker she’s ever used. Like Keurig, it uses proprietary pods, but they’re designed to biodegrade in a landfill.

Keurig

K-Brew + Chill Coffee Maker

Prefer iced coffee? There’s a pod machine for that. We compared hot and cold coffees on this machine using the same K-Cups, and they came out equally strong.

Fellow

Aiden Precision Coffee Maker

Our favorite drip coffee maker overall, the minimalist Aiden has been a status symbol (and WIRED favorite) since its release in 2024. WIRED reviewer Matthew Korfhage says it nails the intersection between a great cup of coffee and an easy cup of coffee.

Xbloom

Studio Coffee Machine

We quite liked this all-in-one programmable brewer, which features a built-in scale and grinder and control via an app.

Coffee Maker, Original

AeroPress has its fervent devotees (many of them in WIRED offices)—now you can join them for just $30.

Oxo

Conical Burr Grinder

This is the least expensive grinder WIRED reviewer Matthew Korfhage recommends to make good coffee—it’s got 30 settings for everything from espresso to French press. This price is for the silver metal version shown, but the blue plastic version is even cheaper at $88.

Fellow

Ode Gen 2

Our top tested choice for pour-over or drip coffee, Fellow’s Ode Gen 2 is both quiet and keeps grounds static-free.

Kingrinder

K6 Manual Coffee Grinder

If you want precision grounds for less, you’re going to have to do the work yourself, but this hand grinder had better consistency of grind than any flat burr we tested under $1,000.

If You’re More of an Energy Drink Person

No judgment—many of us are. Sometimes a cold, fizzy drink just sounds better than something hot and potentially dehydrating. If this is sometimes you, Prime Days are often the best time to stock up on a flat of your favorite.

Celsius

Functional Essential Energy Drink, Sparkling Orange (12-pack)

WIRED contributor Pete Cottell says Celsius is punchy without a cloying aftertaste and it does wonders in masking the medicinal notes that are present in similarly potent drinks. It’s also “an absolute unit when it comes to the caffeine-to-volume ratio.”

Bloom Nutrition

Sparkling Energy Drink Variety Pack

“All the aesthetics of a very-online wellness girlie product without any of the questionable flavors or adjuncts,” says WIRED contributor Pete Cottell.

C4

Performance Energy Drink (12-Pack)

“Halfway through the can I got happy feet and swapped my Aeron chair for the walking pad. Two miles and 35 minutes later I was still zooming, so I took my dog for a 2-mile run and felt like a million bucks at the end.” says WIRED contributor Pete Cottell.
