Following the decision not to proceed with the 2026 IRONMAN 70.3 New York triathlon in Jones Beach this Saturday due to a coastal storm impacting the area, the event’s male pro division will now join the IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta race field on Sunday.

It appears the professional men were also offered a $500 travel stipend, with Nick Chase reportedly already being en route to Augusta. The race is set to take place this Sunday, one day after New York had been scheduled, giving athletes an additional day to make their way to the new destination.
