On a recent trip Connor and I fished a high country stream which I hadn’t fished before. We decided to stop on a corner pool and film the sequence of how I read the water and covered the pool. The pool had some specific hydrologic features which I discovered by watching the behavior of my rigs as I fished. Hopefully my experience will help you decipher similar pools when you’re out fishing.
