Captain Hogan Brown’s favorite summer striper fly is a clouser minnow style pattern that’s been adapted for West Coast Striped Bass and takes inspiration from some of the legendary West Coast striper fly tyers like Steve Adachi, Captain Maury Hatch, and Captain Andy Guibord. This fly is bulky enough to push water and move stripers, but doesn’t cast like a wet sock!
