A big week for Garmin Cycling: two new bike computers, a Rally power meter refresh, and now firmware updates landing straight on devices. The 540, 840, 1040, 1050, MTB, plus the new 550/850 all get Rally 110/210 support, bug fixes, and stability tweaks. The 550/850 also see backlight and touchscreen improvements. Bonus test: I pushed the 850 well past its quoted 12-hour battery life. I expect more updates to come soon, including the Weather Widget and Gear Data for the 1050.
