After six weeks, 50 hours, and over 1,000 km of riding, the Garmin EDGE 850 has proven to be a capable, feature-packed bike computer that essentially delivers the Edge 1050 experience in a smaller form factor. Has it all been smooth sailing? Not quite, but it’s early days, and I’ll be keeping a close watch on future firmware updates and improvements rolling out to this and other Edge units.
