Gillian Roberts was diagnosed with cancer in 2018 and had to undergo multiple surgeries to remove her ovaries, uterus, cervix, and appendix. She never stopped fighting to get back to health and fitness. Having grown up a runner she knew the motivation that running and triathlon training could bring.
