In this fly tying tutorial Cade Moore ties the Hi-Lo!
The Hi-Lo is a beast of a fly! This fly has caught everything from Bluegill to Tiger Muskie, Freshwater to Salt and i’m sure its not done yet! Originally designed for Bonefish and Carp, a couple tweaks and many days out on the water has lead me to come out with a quick easy tie that is also durable and can be tied in a lot of different color variations to chase any species. Using Tungsten eyes to get down deep and Brass eyes to stay light and high make this fly one of the most versatile streamers out there! Tan, White/Red, Olive and White/Chartreuse have been my go to color variations and are consistent producers! This is my go to streamer pattern and one variation in particular has caught 30 different species alone. Tie a few up and we cant wait to hear what fish you caught using this fly!
