Chelsea Sodaro made the decision in 2021 to try and make the Team US squad for the Collins Cup almost immediately after giving birth to her daughter Skye.
She made it but under the surface things clearly weren’t right. A year on, she’s back stronger than ever, off the back of an incredible performance in Edmonton for the Canadian Open. Now she’s after a rematch with one of Team Europe’s finest…
Sodaro wasn’t the hero in Edmonton, though, as Ashleigh Gentle announced herself as a new star of the middle distance arena with victory and the 100k prize purse. She will be taking on the Collins Cup format for the first time but is ready to play a major part in ensuring Team Internationals don’t land the Broken Spokes trophy for the second year running.
