In this fly tying tutorial, Cheech ties the Jelly Jig.
This jig not only is super simple to tie, it’s really effective as well! The gel core means that it’s pretty indestructible due to it being constructed of the same stuff as gel spun thread and bullet proof vests. There are so many colors of the gel core fritz that you can make almost any color combo! The veil on this fly is also a really important part because it kind of acts like a trigger for the fish.
