So I started swimming last October for the first time in 18 years. It’s been slow going focusing on technique and getting a feel for the water. When I started, I could barely make 50m, now I can breeze 2000m at a steady pace. However, my speed is still not where I’d like it to be. Back in October, it was roughly 3:00min/100m, now (Feb) it’s 2:35min/100m for the same endurance session.
How long did it take you fellas to get to a speed you were happy with?
