Torn Meniscus

I’m so angry. Felt my knee give out at the start of a run this weekend and got diagnosed with a torn meniscus after limping into the doctor’s office.

I have a 10 mile run race in April, an oly in early June and a 70.3 in late June. The doc said biking on the trainer was fine as long as it didn’t hurt (right now it hurts to move it)- but for running, to use common sense and wait and see. I am not a fan of the uncertainty.

For those of you who’ve had this before: how long did it sidetrack your training? Were you able to adapt and focus on biking and swimming, and still get through the race ok?
